Presentation of the Research Paper: "Public Rhetoric of the Georgian Government - A Mini-Model of Russian Propaganda"
On May 25, the University of Georgia hosted a Gnomon Wise Research Institute presentation: "Public Rhetoric of the Georgian Government - A Mini-Model of Russian Propaganda." The results of the research were presented by Davit Kutidze (Gnomon Wise researcher, author of the document).
Following the presentation, a panel discussion was held with the participation of Sopho Gelava (DFRLab Researcher, Invited Lecturer at the University of Georgia); Mariam Gersamia (Professor, Director of MCERC); Rezi Topuria (co-founder of the Franklin Club, Lecturer at the University of Georgia).
The panel discussion debated the dangers of Russian propaganda and ways to deal with it. At the same time, the participants talked about the public rhetoric of the Georgian government, which is increasingly similar to the elements of Russian propaganda, and the risks posed by such rhetoric.
